Rebuilding of power steering racks available. The above photo shows a unit partially disassembled for rebuilding.
All housings are bead blasted, and metal parts that are no longer zinc dichromate plated are painted using wheel paint for a durable finish. All new seals are used in the rebuilding. Bore is micro polished as is main rack gear to ensure positive sealing of new seals. Synthetic high shockload grease is used on the pinion gear for long life.
Racks are available on an exchange basis with a core charge being refundable upon the receipt of the customer's rebuildable core. Cores received that are not rebuildable will be assessed at the full core charge. Defective core is returnable to customer upon request and receipt of return shipping charges. One year warranty offered on all rebuilds. |
